FLOWING TEARS Launch Studio Diary
March 9, 2006German female-fronted gothic metal band FLOWING TEARS are currently writing material for their seventh release, tentatively due later in the year via Century Media Records. "The work on the new album is in good progress and if the devil is with us, the album will definetely be released within 2006," the band write on their web site. "Until then we decided to let you participate in the carthatic agony of writing an album by dropping some personal notes and comments on the progress of our work in form of a diary. If you're lost, sleepless or just have nothing better to do — feel free to act as a voyeur and get an insight here."
FLOWING TEARS' latest album, "Razorbliss", received its long-overdue U.S. release on July 12 via Magick Records (a division of Cleopatra Records).
"Razorbliss" was issued in Europe in March 2004 through Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Serpentine" was recorded at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen, Germany with producer Waldemar Sorychta (THE GATHERING, LACUNA COIL, SENTENCED, MOONSPELL) and was the band's first to feature vocalist Helen Vogt, who replaced Stefanie Duchêne in 2003.
